Diary Entry #14

Dear Online Diary,
   Wow! It's been so long since I last blogged! I have a lot of things to tell you girls, so I'll have to split it up in different entries. In my last entry, I mentioned switching around my bedroom to prepare for a new sister. Well, with a lot of courage, strength (from my dad!), and joy, (I just made that a lot more dramatic than it actually was!!) we finished the room! Want to see it? Here it is! (These pictures were taken on March 8th)

Here is my bed. I keep my panda bear and Samantha on it.

 I have this poster above my bed. It says: 'The only way to have a friend is to be one.' I love that quote!

This is the 'Nightstand' (really just my old bench), and I keep all of my shoes here. As you can see, I'm still trying to get all of them together!

There's the hair stuff in the middle, a clay bear on each side, and on my side I keep my money in my little cupcake figurine. We are going to buy a little trinket that my new sister can put on her side.

There are two posters above the bench/nightstand. They say: 'Stop and look around' and 'All heart'. I got them from my favorite magazine, the American Girl Magazine.

 Here is my future sister's bed.

I decided to give up my little doll,

 and my dalmatian dog for my sister.

 They stay on her bed.

She gets this poster above her bed. It says: 'It takes a long time to grow an old friend'. Another one of my favorite quotes!

    Here is the closet.

I still keep my purses up on top.

 My Bible is on top of my toybox. (Sorry for the lighting in this picture!)

 And above my toybox, are posters of places I want to go someday.

Diary Entry #13

                                                                         1:21 pm March 7th 2013

Dear Online Diary,

    So many things have happened! (Not really, it's just fun to say!!!) But, things have actually been going on. Like, April 2nd was Joy's birthday! I sent out her scarf along with a card. I got a reply yesterday, and she said that they will be moving to America, on the 9th! Of course it will take longer than that, but that just means I'm getting closer and closer to maybe seeing her! Also, I have to change my room up a little. I mean, A LOT! Want to know why? I might be getting a sister!! We don't know when it will happen, but my parents are thinking of adopting. I'll have to make my room fit for two, and I'm fine with sharing. The only bad thing? I won't have my huge bed! My mom figured we should give her her own bed, and so it's back to twin sized- so both of the beds will fit. Like I said, we don't know when or who, but it will be sometimes this year. Oh, I can't wait! Well, I'd better get started on changing my bedroom area. I'll post pictures soon!

Diary Entry #12

*Sorry I didn't post this sooner, I've been sooo busy, and had to save this post as a draft.*  5:55 pm, Monday, April 1st, 2013

Dear Online Diary,

       Yesterday was Easter, and I threw a party! I invited Kara, Alexa, and Emily. Emily came over to my house after church, to help me decorate. The actual party didn't start until 4:00pm. We were able to finish setting up at 3:00pm, so for the next hour we played outside. Emily and I were playing tag, and I guess it wasn't very smart to play tag in our church clothes. We both tripped over a fallen branch in my yard, and got our clothes ALL dirty. WE went inside to change, and I let her borrow one of my dresses. We were fixing our hair when the doorbell rang. We both ran downstairs and opened the front door. It was Kara. About five minutes had passed, and then Alexa showed up. Here's the party! 

Me and my mom bought stuffed bunnies the night before, on Saturday.

We had plenty of snacks. Raspberry Chocolates,  

Hershey kisses, (caramel and peppermint!)

 and pretzels.

We were also giving away some things. A GIANT Hershey kiss, and 2 Softlips Chapstick flavors.

 I almost forgot! The container is for the giveaway.

Then we all enjoyed our chocolates.

Yummmmmm!

Then Alexa told me that I had chocolate all over my mouth.+

  Oops, I do! Is it noticeable?

She had the choice between Vanilla, or Pearl.

  She went with Vanilla. Yum!
Next up is.......

Kara! She won the Pearl chapstick.

And last but not least.....Emily!! She won the first giant hershey kiss! (She seems to have a winning streak!)

 Then we all shared the second kiss.

After we ate the giant one, we all wanted MORE chocolate, so we ate the little, normal sized kisses. I had peppermint (the best. In my opinion), and the other girls had chocolate caramel.

So that was my Easter Party!!! I wanted to do an egg hunt, but when Kara and Alexa arrived it started raining. I was thinking about doing one inside, but my mom said we could ONLY stay in the living room, and there aren't very many places to hide eggs. :p Well, I hope you all had as much fun as I did!
